I aimed to set up Windows 7 alongside Windows 10 using an existing partition. I understand this can be straightforward by creating a new unallocated space and formatting it, but I’m curious about the process since I want it to run under UEFI. My concern is whether EasyBCD will work as expected. Thanks for your assistance!
Choose the exact partition for your desired drive, set the right space, format it using Windows Boot, and it should function perfectly. Make sure you do this in the Windows 10 partition clearly to avoid issues.
I achieved this simply by creating a one-to-one partition first, then adding the second partition to its opposite side. It's been effective for me.
