Hi, I purchased my Western Digital Black 1TB and am using an SSD Samsung 840 Evo Series 120GB. I watched a video to set up the SSD as the boot drive and HDD as storage, but I’m unsure where to find the "Resource Kit" around 4:29 and 5:02. I need help installing my programs on the WD Black drive. VIDEO link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qMo8krAJd5Q

It seems the documentation appears to target Windows 2000 commands. I couldn't catch the audio since I'm in a library.

There wasn't a 'resource kit'. He was merely demonstrating the standard method for installing software to another storage drive. Most installations require 'Advanced settings' or 'custom installation' options to support transfers to different drives. It would be wise to install your programs onto an SSD for better performance.

Avoid using a resource kit. Choose custom during installation and pick the D drive instead of C.

Hey there! It was a bit confusing, but thanks for the clarification. I was wondering if you were thinking the same way about Linus? xo totally get it—no problem!

I don't think I have enough space to store all my programs on my SSD. Things like Keepall antivirus, music files, Photoshop, and Sony Vegas are fine for my Black Drive.
