Yesterday I set up Ubuntu 17.04 and spent the whole day attempting to link via Remote Desktop from my Windows 10 machine to Linux. Eventually I managed to log in with the right credentials, but the connection would drop instantly without any warning. I tried adjusting the resolution, but it only takes a short time before it closes. I haven’t found a fix other than changing the display settings.

I set up XRDP and, according to my understanding, that’s all it takes with Ubuntu 17.04.

I haven't accessed them. I know Ubuntu already has all the ports ready, isn't it? EDIT: I just opened the ports on Windows and it functioned correctly. Thanks a lot!
