It's been three days since I couldn't use my headset, and the sound icon keeps showing "Sound service not working." I've tried reinstalling drivers, restarting the audio services, and troubleshooting multiple times without success. Usually it works after an hour, but I want to get back to using my PC immediately after turning it on. I'm not sure if I should reinstall Windows or reset everything to factory settings, since I'm planning to buy a new PC soon.

Other sound equipment also function properly, aside from your headphones.

None of the solutions functioned, not even the speakers in the laptop. However, I left the PC on standby, and the audio worked—hoping it would still operate when I power it up tomorrow. Apologies for the delayed reply; I’ve been away for a while and everyone just forgot about this.
