I’m unsure whether I should post this here, but if not, please let me know so I can remove it.
I plan to set up a server for a friend launching a dental clinic. I’ve never installed a server before, though I’ve worked with some. I’m reaching out for server suggestions.
The server needs to handle 3D rendering images in DXT Studio or Romexis. The clinic will use dentadmin. There will be four client PCs (three cabinets and the reception area).
The DXT Studio and Romexis requirements are available here:
https://ifu.dtxstudio.com/wp-content/upl...3.1_EN.pdf
https://www.planmeca.com/software/specif...romexis-6/
I was considering the HPE ProLiant DL360 Gen11, but I’m not sure what configuration would be optimal for this setup. I believe simply meeting the minimum specs from DXT Studio or Romexis isn’t sufficient. I hope someone with experience in this area can share their insights on server selection or configuration.
Security recommendations and backup tips are always welcome.
Thank you ahead of time—if you know a forum where I can find assistance for this question, please share it.

A DL360 is a compact 1U server. It features smaller fans and produces more noise compared to other models. The DL380 offers quieter operation due to its larger chassis. HP previously offered the ML350, which was an even bigger chassis, but it appears to be no longer available with gen10.
