Hello everyone, I just built my own PC with a Ryzen 5 3600 and an RTX 2060. I’m planning to set up a Minecraft server for me and my girlfriend, but her laptop isn’t powerful enough. I’m curious if there are any configurations or methods to run a Minecraft server where everything is handled on the server side—like GeForce NOW or Google Stadia. I also noticed some blog posts about using AWS EC2 for streaming games over VPN, but this would need to be done locally on my PC. I thought Minecraft RTX might only work with Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition, but maybe it’s still usable without it. Please let me know if this explanation covers everything or if I should clarify further. Thanks!

You might examine Moonlight or Parsec to configure a remote gaming setup, though it supports only one user per Windows and Hardware Instance.

Server only delivers general information about the world to clients. Clients handle the visual aspects. You need a streaming platform that supports Minecraft, which I don’t believe exists.

Sure, I understand. You might consider setting up a standard server and your girlfriend could use an online PC with better hardware. Thanks for the ideas! I'll take a look.

You'd have to install a complete remote desktop solution such as Parsec.
