Not sure if this is where i should post this. Im trying to start a server for me and a few friends, but when i trying to start the server.exe it just closes itself. Edit server.properties to exclude the port. If you forwarded correctly, it will handle 25565 automatically without needing a setting.
Is it modified? It looks like there are problems with the port, consider switching that.
Have you mentioned forwarding the port in the router? If not, visit this site for instructions: http://portforward.com/
