Prepare your Palworld server using the specs you shared. For your questions:
1. Move the current server to the new PC by copying files and settings.
2. Configure the setup so it stays active remotely, with backup plans if it crashes or times out.

I followed the instructions from @DoctorNick for setting this up. I connect to a Wi-Fi outlet to manage the machine's power, allowing me to turn it on, off, or restart from anywhere. After it starts, I can remotely access it if needed. If you configure it to boot on power and then use Windows to start Palworld, everything should work smoothly.

This approach isn't recommended unless you're willing to risk losing game data. For maximum security, set up DDNS to keep your IP updated, then install a VPN with your preferred encryption. Once configured, connect from any device using the computer and turn on "magic packet" for remote access. If needed, send a magic packet to restart the server when it goes offline. You can also bypass the VPN, but that exposes your home network to potential breaches.

Well honestly, coupled with a remote access setup, the hard off/on is a resort some of have to use for servers that become unresponsive. I'm not saying use it for your every day, but when push comes to shove.... It';s not like all of us don't hard shut down once in a while. The entire world knows the 5 second rule

I’m confident I haven’t required a hard shutdown of a server in a long time. There have been instances where RDP didn’t respond, yet PowerShell or cmd network commands successfully powered down or restarted the machine. If this is typical, it might be safer to run the game inside a VM so you maintain control over the host OS for such actions.
