Hello. I just purchased serious sam HD for the first time. When I received the game, it didn’t start, but after setting everything up in the redist folder, it launched properly. Hooray! But there’s an issue: without vsync (which I’m not ready to use), severe artifacts appear that disappear when I enable vsync. I’m confused about what to do since I don’t want to play with vsync or with these heavy artifacts covering a quarter of the screen in a checkerboard pattern. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Because you're using an AMD card, the only method I'm aware of to cap your FPS without enabling Vsync is through Rivatuner Statistics. I'm not sure about the exact steps, so I recommend checking that resource. If you prefer not to restrict your FPS at all and want artifacts to disappear, updating your drivers or reaching out to AMD support would be the best options.
