Hello, I'm facing a boot loop issue and think it's linked to my 5950x processor. The error messages show bad_pool_caller and kernel_mode_heap_corruption. I don't understand what's causing the problem, but any advice would be really helpful. Side note: I can't boot into Windows at all, even in safe mode. However, I can access BIOS and CMD via recovery. I'm installing Windows 11 Pro with a crosshair VIII formula, a Ryzen 5950x, a 4GHz Kingston Fury Renegade (no XMP or overclocking), and a 3080 graphics card.

What type of memory are you utilizing? Is the latest BIOS version active? Are XMP/ DOCP features turned on, or is it operating at the standard speed?

Sorry, missed the inclusion. I'm using a 4000MHz Kingston Fury Renegade. It wasn't an XMP of DOCP as I assumed, but it wasn't the issue either. I can confirm it's not a memory problem since another set caused the same errors.

It would likely fall more into RAM capacity than CPU power, even for storage needs. Consider starting with a single RAM stick at a time. If both fail when used separately, try a Live Linux USB to check if the issue persists without relying on storage. This could point to problems with the memory controller on the CPU, though that's less common.

no ram sticks or other parts are functioning properly. I can't set up or use a live Linux USB since I lack a Windows machine. Edited June 25, 2023 by NicoR1

Verify PBO status in the BIOS tweak section. Some manufacturers now use 'On' instead of 'Off,' so updates may affect settings.

I disabled it, yet the issues persist with bad_pool_caller and kernel_mode_heap_corruption.

You don’t upload or install on a system with just one RAM stick and no XMP support.

Sorry, I misunderstood your request. I didn't mean to suggest fixing anything. I can't start Windows, but I only have access to BIOS and recovery options with the configurations provided.

Opt for a Repair Installation while retaining your files. https://www.elevenforum.com/t/repair-ins...grade.418/ If other options aren't viable, a clean install might be the way to go.
