I'm the main tech person for the family and even I'm having trouble with my setup. I'm facing unexpected system freezes where everything stops completely and restarts. It happens whether I'm idle or under different workloads. I can trigger a crash by opening COD MW, but it still manages to pass the intro scene. I suspect the recent Adrenaline 24.8.1 updates might be the culprit since they were removed and then readded. Still, I can't get COD running. I sometimes work with DaVinci Resolve for 5-10 minutes and then run into a crash. I'll revise this later after uploading, because I'm worried it will fail while I write. Any extra details would be great <3 Specs: CPU Ryzen 7 5800X, Mobo MSI B550 Gaming, Gen 3 RAM 32GB, Corsair DDR4 3600MHz, GPU AMD Radeon RX6950XT, PSU Cooler Master 850W MWE Gold (already swapped), Drive 1 Samsung 970 Evo 1TB, Drive 2 Samsung 860 SATA SSD, Drive 3 WD Blue 1TB.

Was es nach der Installation von 24.8.1 Adrenaline Drivers oder vorher passiert? Versuchen Sie, DDU zu verwenden und zwei Fahrzeuge zurückzuverfolgen.

The crash details are clear, and I’ve checked your settings. No undervolting was applied to the CPU, and the current Adrenaline drivers are installed.

It has been occurring since the 24.7.1 release, though I had 24.7.1 earlier before the problem started. I performed a DDU and reverted back to 24.7.1, but the issue remained. I plan to downgrade to an older driver version available on the AMD site if necessary.

I examined the details of this event and noticed the BugCode equals zero, which means it doesn’t point to a software bug. I double-checked with a memory test on Windows and found no problems. Regarding your concerns: the issue began before any CPU adjustments. I tried Ryzen Master autotune but turned it off afterward. The BIOS now has no CPU optimization enabled. I’m planning to revert to a version prior to 24.7.1, as recommended by CommanderAlex.

Based on your previous messages, it seems you're asking about the number of DIMMs of RAM currently installed. Could you clarify if you'd like me to confirm or check the count?

2 DIMMs, 2x16GB DDR4 RAM. I've tested your earlier fix and lowered some graphics driver versions to 24.4.1. I can now launch COD and play games without problems. If the problem comes back (it’s unlikely right now), I’ll reply here. Appreciate your assistance.

I attempted CommanderAlex's advice to lower the GPU driver version. I’m currently using 24.4.1, which lets me launch COD and play a match. Progress looks good so far. I’ll follow up on any updates. Appreciate the assistance <3.

The 2 DIMM kit should work fine. I plan to file a report with AMD regarding COD's inability to run without BSODs, hoping they can look into the issue.
