Hello everyone, Just built my first PC, it's a Ryzen 5 5600 system, with a MSI B550 Pro VDH Wifi mobo, 16GB 2x8 Kingston DDR4 3733MTs CL 19 (the model is KF437C19BBAK2/16, I got it for very cheap), a XFX RX 6750XT GPU and a 650W PSU from MSI. Setting up I had some doubts about the best XMP profile to use in this setup, I saw in the XMP Support Info in the OC settings that it has two XMP profiles: Profile 1 and Profile 2. I was just wondering which one would give me the best perfomance, since Profile 1 has higher frequency but worse timings and Profile 2 has lower frequency but a tad better timings. There's also the "support" question for Profile 1 since I think I would have to do a slight OC to FCLK frequency to 1866 MHz so it matches the MCLK and UCLK and runs 1-1-1 (heard there was perfomance penalty running it desynced) while, as far as I know, 3600 MHz would work fine in sync since the FCLK can go just fine to 1800MHz. I honestly don't wanna mess too much with RAM oc since I know that can be a bit of rabbit hole, I just wanna choose the best XMP profile. Also, about profile 2... it simply wont set to it, both Profile 1 and 2 in the setting where I can actually set them show up as 3733MHz, but I know that can manually set them which is not a problem. Thanks in advance.

Typically the slower setting is what you should use... And it’s often mentioned in the manual as well... This isn’t intended to be a decision for you, it’s more about what the manufacturer tested... Yeah, that seems odd since 3600 makes more sense lol... It could be a bug, but if the other setting works, it might be okay (as long as it’s stable).
