An SSD would achieve remarkable results compared to the impact of selecting an operating system.

Thanks for the response! It's disappointing that Windows 7 isn't supported anymore. I've heard Windows 7 Ultimate might still work with my older hardware, though I wasn't too excited about Windows 8.1 either. The interface felt more like a touchscreen experience, and the old Start menu disappeared. Plus, I'm already using an SSD, so the old HDD was pretty outdated.

The problem lies in your CPU performance when using Chrome. It's recommended to upgrade to lighter software versions.

Thank you for your patience while everyone responded. I’m still using Windows 8.1. Here’s how it works for me: starting from turning on the PC, it takes 10 to 15 seconds. Launching apps takes roughly 1 to 2 seconds, and Chrome opens almost immediately. Opening web pages is also quick. In short, it’s quite smooth—definitely a solid experience. I’m happy with it. YMMV. Thanks!
