Playing games at high definition with smooth performance, video editing, content building, streaming, and upcoming titles. Ryzen 9 3900X Lian Li Galahad 240mm AIO X570 Aorus Pro WiFi – includes all features you needed, no need to complain about the B550 purchase. 32GB RAM at 3200MHz, RTX 3060 Ti, cooler Master V750 Gold V2 White, 4000D airflow I9 10850k. If this setup isn’t ideal, consider switching to Ryzen 7 3700X or i7 10700. Reason: the price here is $618, which feels high even for a 3900X. The next-gen Intel chips are coming soon, but cost matters now.

At 1080p resolution, the 3900X outperforms the i9 10850K, though their results might match in some scenarios based on specific activities.

Hello once more! As mentioned before, 3700x is your top choice. The 3900x and 109850k are solid CPUs, but the 3700x still meets all your needs at a lower cost. Keep in mind the potential bottleneck issues. The i9 and Ryzen 9 are both powerful processors, while the 3060 Ti offers a decent GPU, though it may feel a bit limited for those CPUs. If you absolutely need an i9 or Ryzen 9, go for at least a 3070, preferably a 3080. However, if you're set on a Ryzen 9 or i9, the 3900x is the best bet.

You're right, it's quite a coincidence. 3060 Ti offers nearly 3070 performance, while 3080 exceeds what's suitable for 1080p.

I own a 3060 Ti while my friend has a 3070. They look quite different at 1080p. I'm focusing on the bottleneck issue, not the 1080p itself. My concern is that the CPU is much better than the GPU.

The differences in 1080p are significant. Usually, CPU and GPU don’t bottleneck each other much, but when they do, it’s often because the CPU is slower than the GPU. The GPU tends to be limited by the CPU’s performance.

GPU performance is excellent, but the CPU lacks sufficient power. The processor won’t reach its maximum capacity.

Hello, I wasn't told if Spider-Man agreed or not about MarvintheParrot's suggestion. He might have a different opinion. Let me know your thoughts!

They appear to be a bit excessive, but they’ll be useful for video editing, content creation, live streaming over the next few years. You should likely upgrade your GPU later from a 3060 Ti, and if you switch to a monitor with 1440 or 4K resolution, it would fit well with your setup. This is my approach for such a system.

1080p will work well for me in the long term. 1440p isn't too tough for me, though I don't play many AAA titles—just games like Apex Warzone, Valorant, etc. 4k feels too heavy; maintaining 60fps in those games would require buying a new GPU every couple of years. As for upgrading my GPU, I didn’t plan to do it right now because I might keep it as a secondary machine and replace it later. This is just my approach. Any thoughts?
