Selecting one system over another Comparing the two options Deciding what fits best
hello everyone, i've been thinking about building an amd system for a while now. finally, i found a used intel pc at a good price and i'm struggling with the choice. first option (~1000$) amd ryzen 3600 with 2*16gb ram, 3600mhz, b550m-plus, asus tuf wifi, antec 650w, modular, 1tb, 220s transcend gt 720. second option (~700$) used dell optiplex 7060 i7 8700 with 64gb ram, 2666mhz, 1tb hdd, sata ssd, gtx 750ti. thank you in advance. note: prices are higher here, like in israel, and the motherboard matters for future upgrades. i plan to upgrade the gpu later since i don't need it right now. edited august 14, 2020 by bshara120
Budget and workload are not great for gaming, but with $1000 you can create something much better. Location matters too, though for pure gaming the 750ti stands out as the best choice. Both options are decent, but they fall short in my opinion.
The initial setup works, but at 1000USD it doesn’t offer great worth. A more powerful build could be worth the investment.
