I'm facing a strange Windows issue that's been bothering me. When I right-click an image file to copy it, the loading circle appears and either waits 30 seconds for the menu or crashes when I click anywhere in File Explorer. A clean boot didn't help. The SFC/scannow scan showed no problems. I've switched explorers but the problem continues. Uninstalling potential add-ons like Daemon Tools didn't resolve it either. This has been happening on Windows 11, not just Windows 10. Any other suggestions?

Run a checkdisk in open CMD with admin privileges as you did during sfc. Execute chkdsk c: /f /r. Reboot your PC after completing the command on the B drive, since it won't work while Windows is running.

I resolved the issue by reinstalling Windows, and I also lowered the version from 11 to 10, even though I planned to do that no matter what.
