current pc specs: Ryzen 5 2600, Asrock b450-m steel legend, 16gb Corsair Vengeance RAM, XFX rx 5600xt thicc ii, Pro Case with fractal design, Zowie XL2411P display, Acer K222HQL keyboard, Ducky One 2 mini mouse, Zowie S2 divina sound, Corsair Void Pro USB, Windows 10 Pro. Looking to upgrade CPU, motherboard, and power supply. Located in England with £300. Any advice?

Your motherboard looks good, so why not maintain it? It accommodates third and soon fourth generation Ryzen processors.

It feels like constantly replacing your motherboard whenever you upgrade can be quite frustrating. A key benefit of Ryzen chipsets is their ability to work backward and forward through different generations.
