These two boards are my favorites. The A Pro offers solid performance for a budget-friendly VRM while supporting the 5950X with PBO. The Aorus Pro provides the most affordable platform for high-end memory setups from Gigabyte.

Unless your setup needs the additional PCIe chipset on the X570—like with many Gen4 SSDs—it makes no sense to switch from the B550.

B550 sits a bit lower in the range compared to the x570 chipset. If you decide to go with the x570, there are options from ASUS TUF that offer a good balance of features without exceeding your budget.

Many X570 models can surpass the performance of B550 due to their outdated memory layouts, etc. I think Asus seldom refreshes their older boards with modern configurations.
