Hello, I'm trying to choose a power supply but have doubts. After checking some YouTube videos, I noticed some models make loud noises. Here are the options:
1. Pure Power 12 M 850W ATX 3.0
2. Gigabyte GP-UD850GM 850W 80 Plus Gold ATX 3.0
3. Be quiet! System power 10 850W 80 Plus Gold
4. MSI MPG A850GF 850W 80 Plus Gold
5. Corsair RMe Series 2023 RM850e 850W ATX 3.0

Would you recommend one of these, or do you have any experience with them?

Noise levels will depend on the power you apply. Around 850W fits well with a 300W GPU. Large models such as the 4090 typically need at least 1000W power supplies.
I usually suggest the Pure Power 12.
MSI is a good choice when it's on sale.
I'm still steering clear of Gigabyte, just to make sure any older stock is removed from their faulty units. I don't think the UD850GM was one of them.
System Power 10 might be too much for a lighter GPU and isn't sufficient for mid-range models. For those cases, better or cheaper alternatives would be better.

I would stay away from the Pure Power 12M. It is multi-rail only, meaning under heavy load it may trip and shut down sooner than competing power supplies that can switch to single-rail for larger spikes in current.
Gigabyte PSU's are generally fine, but for your money I would stay away and grab something from a company with a better track record.
Be Quiet's System Power lineup are generally low end units; I would not go that route.
The MSI MPG is good, but again, I would go with something else. If you aren't needing ATX 3.0 support, I would grab the
Corsair RM850x
. It's 80+ Gold certified and has a 10 year warranty. Corsair has made power supplies for a long time and they have a strong track record. It's currently on sale for a little over 100 dollars, and it's what I would personally go with.

Opt for the best option between a gold 750watt and a bronze 850watt. It's important to verify your power consumption and choose wisely, as buying an overly large power supply is wasteful. Additionally, ensure the size fits your case.

I don't have personal opinions, but I can share details about the Corsair 850e and compare it to the Corsair 850x. The Corsair 850e is known for its compact design and portability, while the Corsair 850x offers a more robust build and additional features. The differences lie mainly in size, power delivery, and target use cases.

I also overlooked the Corsair 850e. What are your thoughts on it? How does it stack up against the Pure Power 12 in terms of build quality?

The Rm850x doesn't come with 12VHPWR cables; they are sold separately. It's a solid PSU and I use it, although my older 2016 model is an extra expense. Pure Power 12 offers two 12V rails, but in the worst case it only supports 480W. If you're not connecting a 450W GPU and then overclocking, it should be fine. Still, it's an ATX 3.1 rated supply, so it should manage power spikes during short periods. It should work for systems without RTX 4090 or i9-14900KS. Not a suggestion for top-tier setups with Threadripper.

RM850e is another good option when the price matches. I've heard its fan noise can be a bit loud, but that really depends on the rest of your system's volume.

The Seasonic GX-750 is currently a solid deal. If you have the correct chassis for sideways power connectors, the RM750x Shift is fine.

Thermaltake Toughpower GF3 performs well, while the GF A3 should be avoided. The 850W models of those are also worth considering.
