I've been using Ubuntu but switching to Fedora would be great. I run CentOS on multiple servers, so matching the environment at home would be helpful. My tower is mainly for learning Linux and occasional gaming. What graphics card works best on Fedora 29—Nvidia or AMD? I currently have an Nvidia 750 Ti, but I'm struggling to install a working driver. It was easy in Ubuntu. I've heard AMD cards perform better with Linux. Is that accurate? Should I consider changing?
AMD graphics cards are typically preferred, simplify installation, and also work with Wayland and Gallium 9.
