You have a good setup with your Corsair RAM. The GSKill TridentZ at 3600Mhz is a solid alternative for better performance. Upgrading to this model could be beneficial if you plan to use Ryzen processors later. You can adjust the speed in BIOS and it works well, so the change might not affect stability. It’s definitely worth considering if you’re thinking about future upgrades.

It doesn't seem to fit your needs for Intel components. Ryzen could be a good option if you're beginning fresh, but it appears your priorities aren't focused on cost in this context.

It won't really change much on the Intel platform. The Ryzen 3000 line relies a lot on RAM speed, especially when clocks are near 3600 to 3800 MHz. Infinity Fabric typically runs around 1800-1900 MHz. Intel doesn't offer that advantage, so the main boost would come from faster clock speeds rather than big improvements. Unfortunately, there aren't any significant gains for Intel in this case.

Looking for verification or standards to support this claim? Also, considering a potential switch to Ryzen, what upgrades would be beneficial?

Find plenty of comparisons on Gamers Nexus for RAM and check various trusted PC tech reviews. You can also review speed tests online. Generally, Intel chips over 3200 MHz don’t see much improvement; gains are mostly due to clock speeds.

You just completed the adjustment, and reduced RAM timings made a big difference. It seems there might be an issue elsewhere.

The details about Ram timing and speed seem to be unrelated.

It seems you're unsure how I can assist. Up to now, I've only covered the basics everyone understands. That's all.

We're discussing workloads for a quad-channel setup. The reference link provided focuses on Skylake memory benchmarks.
