Motherboard features built-in WiFi and Bluetooth. Acquired a WiFi 6E router and a corresponding card with Bluetooth included. Disconnected the built-in antenna, causing frequent device disconnects. Windows appears to rely on the integrated Bluetooth. To ensure Windows 10 uses the installed card's Bluetooth instead, you may need to adjust Bluetooth settings or reinstall the card.
Turn it off in the BIOS settings if available or remove it from the device manager in Windows.
Bluetooth Device (RFCOMM Protocol TDI) Identification Service BTHENUM{...} PID & LOCALMFG BTHENUM{...} Service Discovery BTHENUM{...} PID One of these components is integrated, the other external. I believe the external card works fine on Windows and Linux, but I couldn't establish Bluetooth on Linux...
Are there additional gadgets linked via Bluetooth? You only notice one functional unit, with the rest serving as components of Bluetooth standards.
I didn't realize there was another cable connecting the card to the motherboard, I ignored it since I followed a tutorial. Probably not needed for Bluetooth. The external one is working fine.
Refers to the internal USB cable mentioned in the user guide. The manual specifies connecting it to the motherboard.
That device is already in my possession. I checked the MOBO, but it doesn’t appear to be connected via USB.
There should be an internal USB header, and your motherboard should have two at the bottom, at least one available.
