I face a limited selection right now due to the shortage of motherboards in my region. I searched for the AORUS B450 M roundup and the only available choice is the AORUS B450 M, though it’s considered the lower end. According to this review, it could be even worse. In my country, prices are roughly double or more than in the US. For the AORUS board, you’d pay around 150$. I’m on a tight budget. The other options I have are: ASUS Prime B450 M at about 115$, and Gigabyte B450 Gaming X at 150$. I’m concerned about VRM throttling with a Ryzen 5, especially if paired with a Ryzen 9, and I’m unsure how it would affect sustained performance. The AORUS model is my preferred pick because the review doesn’t mention other models, and it has good support for troubleshooting LEDs, Q-flash, and dual BIOS updates.
