That's a high-quality diamond nano paste. The main problem with these pastes is that when you clean the IHS plate, the laser etching gets wiped away. It's similar to using very fine sandpaper. This is why many people are hesitant about them. However, diamond is the top thermal conductor available. So why not take advantage of that?
Occasionally, certain mixtures require special handling. They behave like liquid metal. I only use them when absolutely necessary.
I don't want to experiment with liquid metal. Observing people remove soldered chips and then using LM is common. Initially, solder creates a full bond and improves thermal transfer. The only time I removed a chip was for direct die cooling. Until recently, there was potential to boost performance by 100MHz with temperature changes. However, replacing an Intel chip like the 8700K with LM under the lid offers a solid upgrade.

Thanks! Before diving in, I purchased a very affordable HY810 thermal paste. It wasn’t a counterfeit, but it’s a Chinese product. The main reason was its performance—results were solid. Plus, buying over $30 helped with free shipping, and it was quite inexpensive. I’ve been using stock thermal paste on my Ryzen 2700X for about a year and a half, consistently getting around 65°C during gaming (though it climbs to 85°C on Aida64). My concern is whether this cheaper option might underperform initially before dropping off, making me feel worse than my current setup. Should I try it or should I upgrade to something better? If not, I’ll explore alternatives like Kryonaut, Arctic Silver 5, or an original MX-4. Thermal pads also look good—I’ll research them further! Thanks a lot for all the advice! It won't vanish simply because it warms up; it would slow down and signal issues. Once that happens, you can review your paste or cooler. I don’t think you should be overly concerned about it.
I would just use the stock paste on a stock cooler. They actually use pretty good stuff... Just go with that. AMD expects the CPU to last 10 years no problem, so just let it be
