Hello everyone. I'm seeking suggestions for a wireless headset. I currently use a Sennheiser GSP 350, which is very comfortable and delivers great sound. However, the cable tends to get tangled, requiring frequent unplugging and unwinding several times daily—something that bothers me. I’d also like the ability to quickly move around and grab a drink without having to take it off and reattach it, while still maintaining clear communication.

I’m aiming for something under $200, as most gaming headsets are currently on sale. Comfort is my main concern; I can wear the GSP for extended periods without discomfort.

While I haven’t been listening to music recently, I enjoy some strong bass. The GSP’s sound quality is clear, though a deeper bass would be ideal. Battery life would also be beneficial. I know the Sennheiser GSP 370 can last up to 100 hours on a full charge, which is impressive. It looks similar to my GSP 350, so I assume it would offer comparable comfort.

I’m looking for a microphone that doesn’t sound too poor, but I don’t stream or use anything professional. A smaller mic would be preferable since the one on the GSP is quite large and hard to mute. I’ve noticed it tends to break when raised or lowered, but that hasn’t happened yet.

Functionality matters too. I’d like easy control over volume and mute, preferably via USB for plugging into my keyboard rather than using an audio jack on my PC.

Oh right, I wear glasses.

I haven’t tried open-back headsets before, but it seems most are closed-back. Would anyone here prefer open-back models instead?

That’s about all I have for now. Thank you in advance for your help!

Wireless headsets generally match up in gaming, except for SteelSeries which falls short in certain aspects such as noise cancellation. If gaming is the main concern, SteelSeries is a better choice.
