Seeking recommendations for a graphics card compatible with the Dell XPS 8940.
I own a Dell XPS 8940 that's around three years old. It has an i7 processor with 16GB RAM and integrated graphics (likely Intel UHD 750). I'm trying to find a basic card to run Fortnite. The setup currently works but can be slow at times. I need something with HDMI and DisplayPort connectors for my two-monitor configuration, using only the monitor with DisplayPort for Fortnite. The power supply is 360W and appears not upgradable.
I'm not an expert, but based on what I've read online, I should look for a card that doesn't need an extra power connector, so it gets all its power from the PCIe x16 slot. I've seen suggestions like the GeForce GTX 1650 or RX 6400.
I have a few questions:
1) Which card would be the best choice that doesn't require external power?
2) Is the recommended card really necessary for Fortnite?
3) Are there other graphics cards that don't need external power that would fit here, or are there specific requirements I should consider?
I know the power supply isn't powerful enough for high-end cards. Thanks for any advice you can offer.
Welcome to the forums, new member!
It's an i7 with 16GB RAM.

and consider an RX 6600 XT
I checked and confirmed I have an 11th Generation Intel Core i7-11700.
Appreciate the prompt reply.
These links should be useful. I'll consider the RX 6600 XT.
Many cards will be able to run Fortnite
"The suggested system requirements for Fortnite on PC consist of a Windows 10 or 11 64-bit operating system, an Intel Core i7 8700 or AMD Ryzen 7 3700X processor, 16GB of RAM, and a Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 or AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT graphics card."
In my observations, several Dell units have inadequate power supplies and you may need an upgrade if problems arise. Check the specifications of your unit.

I'll examine the connectors on my systems to ensure compatibility. This could help me obtain a better graphics card.
