Seeking professional insights/ PC without screen display
Hey, after a night on my PC, it started working fine until I noticed nothing on the screen. It kept running but showed no signal. I restarted it and still had no display. I tried reseating RAM, checking different slots, using another PSU, and even changed the CMOS battery. Once the CMOS was fresh, it worked normally for a day. But now it’s back to the same issue. Could be hardware problem—CPU, motherboard, GPU, or RAM? Let me know what you think. Tldr: runs but no display/signal.
You haven't specified whether you're using a dedicated video card or an integrated one built into the CPU. If the dedicated card fails, test it on another machine. Try a different video cable—perhaps the HDMI port on the card is dead, but DisplayPort or DVI still function if the system supports both. Switch the display cable to the other outputs (if using a dedicated card, connect to the integrated one). Sometimes a BIOS reset can restore it to default settings with integrated graphics.
I neglected to mention. My CPU lacks an integrated GPU. I'm using an Xeon E3 1270 Samsung B75s1 RX 570 Corsair vs450. Yes, I attempted different cables and monitors. Testing my components on another machine might be the only option left. Unfortunately, I don't have any spare parts.
