Hey there, I realize now that I made a huge mistake by buying a 400€ item without verifying if it worked with my motherboard. I was hoping to upgrade from HDDs to SSDs and picked M.2 drives for lower cost. I went for cheaper 3 x WD Green SN350 M.2 2280 NVMe cards. But when I tried to install them, my board doesn’t support PCIe expansion, the card isn’t recognized, and I’m stuck. I even bought an Asus HYPER M.2 X16 card as a temporary fix. Now I have a bunch of paperweight costing 400€. I’m desperate for advice—any suggestions? Besides just swapping parts, maybe I should get a new motherboard? But there aren’t any available for my I9-9900K. I’m not sure if a new CPU or a fresh board would help, and I’m worried about finding another compatible card with enough slots. I’m running out of options. Please help me out! And a little bonus—thanks!
