AMD offers ready-made options on their platform. When you visit a particular chip or graphics card and choose "where to purchase," you'll also see some prebuilt versions for that item. These are generally more reliable than what you might find on Amazon. EDIT: Note that on product pages for processors or graphics cards, prebuilt units aren't typically listed there.

If someone is hard set on buying pre-built, my main advice to the buyer is shop local. Typically, there's a limited warranty period that makes it easy for support. Also, the local shops have it in their interest to hold up a reputation of not screwing over their customers. As always, buyer beware, so do investigate the history and reputation of the shop before hand. Personally, I prefer to build my own. I've always had. But I can understand the appeal for 1st time PC shoppers; gaming or not.
