I'm having trouble launching any games that need Microsoft Visual C++. During installation (from Steam or direct download), it gets stuck. I've tried the provided forum link, but it mentions I don't have access to the command prompt for moving a specific package. I attempted uninstalling and reinstalling, planning a fresh Windows 8.1 install soon—possibly including a new Windows help setup—to resolve this. Thanks for your support, Zech.
