Previously, I was a regular Xbox gamer, though I haven’t engaged in video games for five years. My preferred titles were consistently Call of Duty and Battlefield. What is the most economical location to buy these games? Do I require a subscription service to access online play? Are there any emerging PC-based rivals that I am unaware of?
Acquire your video games through platforms like STEAM, GOG, or ORIGIN. However, the GOG store doesn’t offer every game title. Specifically for Ubisoft titles, you can also purchase them from the UPLAY store. They provide a membership option; nevertheless, it's not necessary, in my opinion.

Thanks.. so I can just go to Origin and buy Battlefield V but I don't have to sign up for their monthly membership? I noticed on Origin the game is $59.99 but at Amazon it is $39.99. What would be the difference if any?
I recently registered for Origin last night, and it wasn't until I examined it further that I understood their services before subscribing to the $5 monthly membership. It’s an excellent value! With $5 a month, I can download and enjoy all of their titles. The only oddity is that downloading a 72GB game takes approximately eight hours. However, the game itself runs smoothly.
I now need to determine the optimal method for playing Call of Duty.
