Hello, in our home we have two routers and two Wi-Fi networks—one upstairs and one downstairs. It’s clear this setup can be quite frustrating because you often need to switch, and our phones don’t automatically change. I wondered if combining the two networks into a single network across both routers would help. If that doesn’t work, what other options could we consider? We definitely don’t want to replace our current phones or routers.

Uncertain about finding a free public software for this purpose, but it might guide you toward the right approach. The link you shared appears to be a review of converting an old router into a Wi-Fi extender.

Are you sure two routers can connect to form a single network?

https://www.techadvisor.co.uk/how-to/net...r-3633135/ The exact steps may vary slightly depending on the brand, but the overall process should be similar.

I resolved the issue by checking your router's specifications and performing the necessary steps.
