current setup runs smoothly on a 40GB drive with city skylines mods, Chrome tabs, and music playing. High memory usage means I’m already close to the maximum available space.

Display the complete memory section? It seems like the system is just showing the usual window interface without much data being saved in the swap file, given you have ample RAM. This pattern repeated when switching from 16 to 32 to 64GB. My usage jumped significantly while swap space shrank. Under regular use there’s no change, but during heavy tasks the gap becomes obvious. Feel free to proceed—64GB fits within the budget even with a 12600kf and cooler added.
