Looking for reliable live-updating software that meets our needs. We need a system where factory staff can access real-time information about parts, like recent inspections or inconsistencies, such as separating issues in part #5. The solution should run on an internal server, be admin-controlled yet accessible to users, and support live updates without requiring refreshes or shutdowns. We also want multiple panels—like HR, inspection, manufacturing—on a single interface for easy navigation. Ideally, it should work offline or with minimal downtime. If such tools exist, I’m sure you all know about them; if not, I’m hopeful someone will find something suitable and share their thoughts. A free option would be great too.

They considered integrating Disqus, which lets users create internal pages and add comments. It seems to support admin-only posting permissions.

You might configure RSS feeds for this. After that, you can employ various numbers, browser extensions, or complimentary tools (like FeedDemon) to track updates from the feeds.
