Hello, I'm searching for a router for the apartment I just moved into. I've collected as much detail as possible, but if you need more info, feel free to reply. ISP: Digi Hungary - 1000Mbps (actual speed around 870). In this new place, the router must be placed somewhere specific. The hallway seems suitable, though there are no outlets and my landlord is open to purchasing a more advanced model if drilling isn't necessary. The aim is to find a device with sufficient power. I used a Tenca AC8 for the heatmap, but it only managed 300 Mbps over WiFi from one meter away. The closest computer received about 40Mbps (2.4GHz). All three laptops support 802.11ac and must connect via WiFi—Ethernet isn't an option. We all require at least 150 Mbps for work and entertainment. Here are my recommendations; do you have any suggestions or experiences with these models?
