Hey! I'm stuck in my hometown due to the pandemic, and the computer here isn't great. But I'm getting bored of playing those mobile games every day. I'd like to try something more interesting on my PC. Any suggestions for games that fit these specs? Also, no Fortnite or Valorant can run on this machine.

Discover extensive libraries of NES and SNES ROMs through torrent platforms. Using znes or similar emulators lets you enjoy those titles for extended periods. Transport Tycoon Deluxe / OpenTTD (now open source) offers engaging gameplay options, supports online multiplayer, and can be a fun challenge. Half-Life 1, opposing force, blue shift, and Half-Life 2 should run smoothly. Other Source games like Vampire the Masquerade are compatible. Left 4 Dead 1 might work, as could Left 4 Dead 2. Fallout 3’s Game of the Year status may suit you, while Fallout New Vegas could be a viable alternative (better performance than original). Wasteland 2 is similar to the series but watch memory usage. RPG titles such as The Witcher 1, Divinity: Original Sin 1 & 2, Dungeon Siege 1 & 2, and DLCs like Torchlight are likely playable. Dungeon Siege 3 is not recommended due to differences in gameplay and studio. Neverwinter Nights 1 plus add-ons like Torchlight offers a point-and-click experience. For platformers, consider Cave Story+, 8bitboy, Child of Light, Celeste (if supported), Spelunky, Terraria Heroes of Might & Magic 1-3, and reloaded Trine for Bloodrayne 1 & 2. Betrayal at Baldur’s Gate is a solid choice. Elder Scrolls Online, Morrowind, and Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind are available in Steam. RPGs such as Max Payne 1 & 2, The First Mass Effect, Bioshock, Penumbra, Sacred 2, Sniper Elite 1, and Tomb Raider series (various versions) may work. Remember to check each game’s requirements and platform compatibility.

I was also shocked and saddened, I’ve been abusing those games to their limit. I can’t play them anymore, man. Who am I to complain? I’m the one with a Pentium!
