Hello, Your old I5-750 is struggling with the GTX 970 when running Forza Horizon 4. CPU usage is high at 80%-100% and GPU performance is only 65%. You're looking to upgrade to eliminate the bottleneck. What would be a suitable CPU? Should it come with a new motherboard or both? RAM is also important—preferably DDR3 or DDR4. Your budget is between $150-$300 for used models from around 2015, or $300-$400 for new ones. Let me know your preference!

The suggested setup is a CPU like X3440 with a speed over 80 or an i7-860 with a speed over 80, which should provide noticeable gains.

Forza Horizon 4 on PC needs Windows 10 version 15063.0 or newer. Required features include DirectX 12, 12GB VRAM, and an Intel i7-3820 at 3.6GHz. Suitable graphics options are Nvidia GTX 970, NVidia GTX 1060 (3GB), or AMD R9 290x/RX 470. Minimum specs aren't always verified, but recommended ones work best to prevent performance issues.
