Seek guidance for unexpected double click problems across various devices and peripherals.
I have two separate computers—one for work and one for home—both running Windows 10. Recently, I've experienced double-clicking problems where a single click triggers a registration event in Windows. This issue keeps happening across different machines and even with my Android phone (Android 11). It seems to be more about personal habits or settings rather than a technical fault with the computers themselves. Anyone else encountering similar problems?
Is this a Logitech product? It tends to be a bit sensitive to double-clicks. Is the warranty still active?
I wasn't aware of the double-click option. I've reduced the speed, I'll check to see if that makes a difference.
its not an issue with the brand per say, it is an issue with the switches in the mouse going bad. Also all the mice I have gotten from Logitech have at least 3 year warranties, and they will often service a product out of warranty for like $30 in the case of a headset I owned. Also if you are connecting to a bunch of devices, I cannot stress enough the Logitech MX MASTER 3S is amazing. It lets you have 3 devices you can switch between, and the flow software in Logitech works well between two windows machines on the same network or a windows and Linux box. I used mine for mass deploying computers and had it connected to a KVM switch and my desktop and could flow files from my desktop to the computer I was working on. EDIT - also cheap under $50 USD Logitech products (manufacturer price, no including a retail discount) are junk. Its only the better stuff that starts higher than that and has the 1 to 5 year warranties that are really worth buying.
