Looking for a horror experience focused on atmosphere rather than jump scares. You enjoy Silent Hill and Amnesia titles, so I’m targeting similar styles. Any recommendations?

The horror genre has struggled over the past ten years, offering little originality. Scenes rely heavily on shock value without much depth or inventiveness.

Dead Space could be the answer—though it includes several jump scares and is a shooter game. It might not fit every preference, but it effectively builds a tense atmosphere and offers an intriguing world.

You've won the first challenge, but the next two remain uncertain. The initial task was manageable, yet the later ones feel more daunting. Would you consider tackling them or skip ahead?

I don't enjoy horror games, so I can't confirm their quality. However, there are some free horror titles available on Steam such as Cry of Fear and Serena. I only learned about them through word of mouth. But they're free to play. http://store.steampowered.com/search/?so...ASC&page=1

Sure, it seems like the series evolved in style, with each installment offering a different experience.

It's nice to hear! I didn't realize many people had tried those games either, but I'm curious about the others you mentioned.

Really serious, are you? If you haven't tried it yet, I highly suggest giving it a go—it's amazing!
