You're looking to set up a local multiplayer Mario Kart lobby using Windows PCs, USB controllers, and wireless devices. It's definitely achievable with the right tools and setup. There are several platforms you can explore that simplify this process, such as Steam Multiplayer, custom LAN servers, or even dedicated emulation setups. Let me know if you'd like guidance on choosing a solution or configuring it for up to 30 players with split-screen support.

Unless you're planning to configure eight emulators and either run your own local version or have them approved by Wiimmi, the situation isn't feasible.

If the emu doesn’t handle it, you’ll have to build it yourself... does the game even allow it? If not, you’ll need to supply the mods too! You should realize that unless it’s a built-in feature, someone will have to create it—which might take years. Coming up with ideas is simple, but turning them into reality can be challenging!
