You might have forgotten your Epic account, but someone tried logging in but was blocked after 1120 minutes. You received an email warning you were locked out for that time. You set up a new email address and changed your password to something strong (19 digits with letters and numbers). Others have had similar issues?

Your username and email are unique, and this kind of issue usually comes from someone guessing your password but not your username. I tried using Gmail twice from India, and they informed me and shared my IP address.

It's odd. My name comes from a video game, but I often see it used. It looks like they might block access for you or just the person trying to log in, possibly as a form of trolling.

Ignoring it, someone is attempting to guess passwords, so I’ve updated all links associated with that email address.

It wasn't suggesting it was a bad idea, though. An email would likely be the most effective option. It looks like such an action isn't typical on the epic section.

I received an email from Epic Games yesterday informing me that my account was temporarily blocked due to excessive failed login attempts. Maybe there’s a larger security breach happening. Personally, I don’t mind my Epic Games account, but I’d be really upset if I couldn’t access it because of this issue.

You're facing problems with your Epic Games account. They require your email address for login, which you've already provided and updated. Despite contacting support, you haven't received any reply yet. The password change hasn't prevented further emails from arriving.

Someone mentioned a hacking attempt targeting Epic Games with a large fanbase. The concern is that if your account doesn’t store payment details, you’re safe from financial loss. These hackers are just trying to make money without your funds.
