Windows asked for permission to connect to the server, but I rejected it and pressed cancel since another task was running nearby. Turning off the firewall didn’t solve the problem, so I’m unsure how to proceed. I just need Windows to ask again so everything functions properly.

Check the installed Windows version via Control Panel. Adjusting the Windows Firewall settings is typically the initial action.
