I have a portable storage unit that resembles a traditional hard drive with an enclosure; it functions almost identically. Files are moved from it to your Chromebook. If you had used a Windows laptop with this drive, you could have secured it with BitLocker. However, you prefer keeping the drive connected only to your Chromebook. What’s the optimal solution? I think you might have mentioned this before but no one has replied. Is there a method to encrypt this drive on your Chromebook?
I searched for this and found it a bit confusing. Your post from last year kept showing up as the fifth result, which is odd. From what others said, Chrome OS doesn’t support it—maybe it’s an older version. People also mentioned using Google Drive instead.
