I'm preparing a machine for public access at a library. It includes Windows 10 Home. I need to configure it so it resets to its original settings each time a user logs in, eliminating any personal modifications. This is similar to the guest account used on older Windows versions. I've customized the default account using audit mode and sysprep with copyprofile. Setting up a mandatory profile has been challenging, so I've adjusted the registry to redirect the user directory to Users/TEMP, which functions well but triggers warnings about it being a temporary profile. I'm looking for ways to hide these warnings or other methods to lock the system more securely.

An alternative approach is to turn off all notifications for the profile in the Settings app. Disabling the Action Center could also help.

Sure, I can help with that. Let me clarify what you're asking. If you're looking for more details about limited exam accounts and why they might not be widely discussed online, I can provide a concise explanation. Just let me know if you'd like me to expand further!

No settings are needed for limited exam accounts. You don’t require a Microsoft account to use this feature. Only local accounts are set up.

I’m having trouble locating limited exam account options in Windows 10 settings. The issue isn’t showing up on my desktop or laptop, and neither is it present on other machines that aren’t part of a domain. It’s unclear what this means for me.
