I prefer to skip antivirus software. Instead, I recommend using Malwarebytes for free whenever you need a scan. Avast is another viable choice.

I've been using Avast without issues before. I tried AVG in the past but didn't like it much, though I heard it improved. Either one should be fine now.

I've noticed many suggestions about Avast, but for me, I haven't used antivirus for years. My PC is running smoothly with no issues... the mind works like a perfect antivirus.

I’ve wondered the same, how to eliminate a virus without using an antivirus tool. It’s achievable through safe methods like manual scans and system updates.

It's quite challenging. You must identify the specific files affected, understand any changes in the registry, assess the virus's impact, and then undo the damage. Alternatively, consider using Malwarebytes for a quick scan.

Your brain also plays a role in handling XSS and other security concerns, just like Java and Flash do.
