Hello, your ISP only offers dynamic private IP addresses. You want to access your security cameras over the internet using IP Cam Viewer Pro, which doesn’t support cloud connections. From my understanding, it requires port forwarding. You considered using a VPN on your VPS and connecting your phone to it, but you mentioned you don’t need to connect your phone every time. Is there a way to route your local device through the VPS IP securely without constantly switching VPNs? (You said VPN, but I’m not sure if that’s necessary for this setup.)

The link or IP address setup between the VPS and your home network would require a device in your home that connects to the VPS, such as a box with VPN capabilities. You’d need to use a method like dynamic DNS or WireGuard to manage the connection. Adding a Raspberry Pi could simplify this by handling DNS updates and secure tunneling. You can forward the WireGuard port from your router so you access the network via a changing IP address, using a DNS name that updates automatically. A helpful guide was found online that outlines these steps. There are many dynamic DNS services available, so you can choose one that suits your needs.
