I’m trying to improve my MSI Titan GT77HX 13VI performance. I’ve got 6400Mhz RAM with XMP enabled, but it doesn’t run at the expected speed. The BIOS I’m using is version 105, which supports up to 200W per CPU in D-GPU mode. At 6400Mhz it stalls, possibly because of the four RAM slots. Booting at 6000Mhz works only under certain conditions. After resetting CMOS, enabling Overclocking and Performance settings, I set XMP to 6000Mhz. Eventually the system boots fine. However, when I try to tweak BIOS settings in Windows—like adjusting BCLK or other parameters—I get no response. It seems the issue lies in the BIOS order: XMP must be set first, then tweak later. I’ve also experimented with boosting the System Agent in Throttlestop, but that didn’t help. Some users report higher scores with liquid cooling or extreme temperatures, though I’m not sure what’s best for my setup. Any suggestions on BIOS adjustments to stabilize the RAM or improve XMP performance?

It seems the 13980HX only works with DDR5 RAM up to 5600MHz, as stated on the Intel website.

It's identical for the desktop, yet I'm using 8800Mhz with XMP enabled.
