Hello, I have an Intel Core i5 9600K with 16GB RAM, a BUZ 3200 MHz processor, and an Asus ROG Strix Z390-E Gaming motherboard. For installing Windows 11, the main requirements are version 4.3 or higher. I currently meet the security needs—UEFI, RAM, and storage—but I have 12TB of storage. The BIOS doesn’t clearly state a minimum TPM requirement (it mentions 2.0 or at least 1.2), so I’m unsure where to find that specific info. Could you check the motherboard’s documentation or BIOS settings for more details? Thanks!

I understand the Windows 11 leaked build is a pre-beta version not meant for regular use. If you're comfortable with that, try finding ways to trick the ISO so you can install it on your desktop. Otherwise, be patient and keep an eye on future updates.

If you're aware it isn't the official standard, your concern diminishes and you hope they adopt it widely so that those who used older systems in 2016 wouldn't need to switch devices. For me, I'll wait for a formal ISO release before acting, but I'm ready to adapt once it's available.

Windows 10 functions well on your setup, and upgrading to Windows 11 is also possible. You don’t need to stress over hardware details during the installation process.

Microsoft's current statements are inaccurate. Many systems using Windows 10 won't support Windows 11 due to compatibility issues. To resolve this, locate PTT and enable it. Refer to the article here: https://www.digitaltrends.com/computing/...indows-11/

With the number of articles showing work-arounds and TPM being denounced as fluff... my point stands I think. I don't think people will have issues running Win11, lot of fear mongering going on.

The project is focusing on internal modifications that also fail to meet the standards.

It seems many believe Microsoft won’t force compliance, with some suggesting you might need to agree to terms or check boxes acknowledging the risks. Signing up could be necessary, but it’s unlikely they’ll restrict Win11 access for millions.

I believe a lot of people are optimistic. If that happens, it would mean Vista is back again.
