You must set up a portforwarding configuration. If needed, you can also create a Windows share and forward it there.

I configured a network folder for wireless sharing, but it only works when connected to your home network. You need access from other networks as well. Let me know if you need further help.

They would lose internet access since they were only linked to the computer for downloading files.

They seem to excel mainly in gaming and streaming content, though I’m not sure. They mentioned Hamachi, which they used a while back, so they might not have much help with setup now.

what i've noticed functions as an additional link you can link to. during windows 7, i created a home network group that operated alongside the internet and was mainly used for local gameplay.
