I own an AMD sapphire R9 270x with 4gb memory and am considering boosting its performance to achieve higher frame rates in games. This is my first time overclocking, so I have no idea what the optimal settings should be. Could anyone suggest a suitable overclock level? Also, if it would be helpful, please let me know your power supply capacity. Thank you for your time—I really appreciate any assistance.

Simply raise the clockspeed to 20MHZ and run the test (using Heaven benchmark 4.0) until you hit a crash or artifacts appear. After finding your maximum overclock, repeat the steps for memory clock.

Increase the clockspeed to 20MHZ and run tests (using Heaven benchmark 4.0) until issues appear. Keep repeating with memory clock once you find your best setting. Thanks for trying.
